Wayne,
Try connecting through http://localhost/reports and
http://localhost/reportserver.
If you can get access via one or both of those and see reports and
folders listed ignore the rest of this response.
If that doesn't work I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling SQL
Server (I am assuming that this is pretty much a clean(ish) test
machine). I know that takes a bit of time but there are so many
configuration possibilities here and the risk of "Oh I forgot I set
that setting that way 6 months ago (or whatever)". A clean start may
be better. If your RS build is oldish check for more recent Service
Packs before reinstalling.
You may prefer to wait for another response. Perhaps somebody else can
just put their finger "on the spot".
