sql server reporting services:
I did a default new install of RS 2005. I am not using SSL. The server is
Windows 2003 with SP1. I have not done anything with roles. I am connecting
to reports from my computer. My domain/user is part of the administrators
account on the server. The server is not a domain controller. Default is to
use windows integrated security which seems to be happening but it prompts
me for a user and password. I put in mydomain\myuser and the password and
then until I close IE I am not prompted again. If I close and re-open IE
then I am prompted again.

What do I need to do for integrated security to work appropriately. When I
installed RS 2000 I took defaults on install.and I have never been prompted
for my username/password. As far as I know I setup 2005 similarly to 2000.

Thanks,

Bruce

I just uninstalled everything and removed IIS. Then put IIS back in (Windows
2003) and re-installed. Issue is still there. This is a show stopper for
rolling out in production. Although you never know, could be an upgrade of
2000 wouldn't have the problem.

Bruce,

The symptom you describe has been intermittent in various RS2005
beta/CTP builds. I could never pin it down and, as far as I recall,
didn't report it as a possible bug.

As it happens my install is virtually identical to yours and, this
time, I have (so far at least) received no login prompts from IE.
