sql server reporting services : Installing Reporting Services

I'm installing Reporting Services on a Windows 2003 SP1 system, using SQL
Server 2000 SP3a. Ran into issues following normal installation as
identified in http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;867872
.. Followed the instructions to install Reporting Services without the
Virtual Directories, and it ran fine. Now, when trying to configure the
Virtual Directories manually, it's become apparent that the above doc is
missing some information:

+ Do I really want to remove ALL Authentication methods from the Virtual
Directories? How can anyone connect to them? I enabled "Integrated Windows
Authentication" for the rest of this.

+ In step 4, substeps L - O (for IIS6), no mention is made of which file
extension to enter; under the IIS5 steps, using "*" for the extension is
mentioned, but that is not allowed under IIS6. I tried using "asmx" as the
extension (the only file in the ReportServer directory that's not a .sql or
..dll file), but that doesn't seem to work (still getting Access Denied
errors).

Can someone point me to a document that lists what the Reporting Services

Figured it out: First, World Wide Web service has to be running (duh, that
was easy enough). Also, The COM+ System Application service has to be
started.
