I am fairly new to MS report services. Through Profiler I've found
that the report service is constantly calling procedures in the
ReportServer database; procedures like GetMyRunningJobs and updates to
the Notifications table.

Reporting Services. Neither has used RS before and I don't believe either
has ever used Visual Studio.

Here is a very funny problem and I searched, tried every method and cannot
figure this out.
Problem: If my field has carriage returns at the start and then some text
and then again carriage return, the HTML shows fine but when exported to PDF
start Carriage returns are not displayed.

I get an error when I try to open my Report Builder reports with a
ReportViewer control inside my windows app. The error I get is:

What Value is passed by a Parameter Dropdown when it's not selected? I
have a Stored Procedure that has 6 parameters that 3 of them can be
left blank. Needless to say the report won't work, because I'm
prompted to select something.
