I wouldn't consider it. It is proprietary, locked format. I had enough of
this in Crystal.

I don't know prices, but with RS you can build pretty simple configuration
for free, but if you already paid for SQL Server, you have everything as a
gift with tremendous support and potential.

I don't know how to compare with Jasper - open source stuff, have very
limited knowledge.
