sql server reporting services: I created a view in my database and would like the report builder to work
with it, but it doesn't give me the option.

Is this possible?

have you updated your report builder model to add a new entity and related
attributes?

first, add the view in the DSV
second, create an entity, map it to the view, auto-generate the attributes
then play with the model to fine tune it.
