sql server reporting services : two matrixes and width problem

I have two matrizes on the same report which are populated from different
datsets ,they are both grouped by month and having same row groups (showing
some numbers in each month).
My probelm is that the second one is a bit wider than the first one .How can
I get them both in the same width.

Matrixes are by definition variable width, if there are different numbers of
columns.

Problem is that number of columns as exactly the same in both matrix (same
column in Table as well).

There is no way of controling the maximum width of a matrix,,right?

Are all the settings the same -- fonts, column widths, etc.
