sql server reporting services : NULL Checkboxes in Reporting Services

I am building reports using MS Visual Studio .Net 2003 and Microsoft SQL
Server 2000 Reporting Services.

I am encountering odd behavior in the Preview Tab for one of my report RDL
objects. I've set the report parameters up to allow null entries. But when
unchecking the "NULL" checkbox next to any parameter to enter a new value,
Studio refreshes the report, acting as if the "View Report" button had been
pressed. The checkbox also remains checked and I am unable to enter any
value into the input box.

Closing Visual Studio, restarting it, and re-opening the project and report
preview does not appear to resolve this issue.

Has anyone encountered this behavior while developing reports for Reporting
Services?

Thanks in advance,

Do you have cascading or expression based parameters? This will happen
because the parameters get refreshed when Null is set. Could be a bug. If
you have a simple repro for Northwind or without a DB but just parameters.
I can take a look at it. Send it to bradsy@microsoft.com

Hello Brad,

Thanks for your offer for help. Apologies for taking so long to get back to
you and I don't have this report in front of me at the moment. Things have
been pretty busy over here. I will get back to you as soon as possible
though.
