sql server reporting services:
My question is very basic, but i cannot seem to find an answer. Is
there any way to use RS to develop reports about Sharepoint libraries
and lists. The data is not stored in SQL, but in XML. Any thoughts?

You can create your on RS Extension and read the data from the Sharepoints WS.
