Running reports across the VPN - Page cannot be displayed.

sql server reporting services: Our reports work fine from our intranet, but I can't it to work accross the
VPN. I can get to the main page and can select reports, but when I try to
run them I get the messsage 'this page cannot be displayed'. However, I
can view and change properties on the reports thru the VPN. I have tried
all kinds of different combinations in the Data Sources page, but no luck.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

are you using a proxy server when connected via VPN?

I suppose the VPN server that channels our connection could be considered a
proxy server. But other than that, we do not use one.
