sql server reporting services:
Make sure that you will have to design the report in landscape orientation
and set the page proprties of the page to the expected size of the landscape
paper. (And don´t mess up with the borders)

That should work, actually it works for me :-)

SP2: How do I export to a PDF in landscape orientation? Sean Winstead

Hi,

I first started using Reporting Services about a month ago. My customer
needs a report printed in landscape orientation and exported to PDF (in
landscape orientation).

It didn't take long to discover that landscape orientation was not
supported by reporting services. After a fruitless search for
information, I read that printing in landscape would be resolved in SP2.
I don't know if what I read applied to PDF export.

I installed SP2 and there does not appear to be any difference in export
to PDF. A PDF report is generated but its orientation is always portrait.

The dimensions of the report body are width 11.5" x height 8.5". Even
printing the HTML version of the report is flaky, taking 4 pages of
paper instead of 1.

So, is it possible to export a report to PDF in landscape orientation?
If so, how?

Thank you! Your reply did point me in the right direction. First, I was
setting page size on Body but not on Report. Second, I had specified
11.5 in for width, not 11.
