sql server reporting services: MS provides information about how to install and run SQL Reporting
side-by-side with WSS2 installed. Are there any changes or special problems
to install WSS2 on a Windows 2003 server running SQL reporting? Thanks
Dan

The only recent change is that Report Manager no longer requires session
state to be enabled. You don't need to edit the web.config file after
setting the Application Pool. The only downside to this is that Report
Manager preferences of list vs. details is not kept when session state is
off.

Will there be any issues if the root does not get extended, but hosted
websites to support SQL reporting do?

You just need to make sure that the Reporting Services virtual directories
are in the exclusion list for SP.
