We would like to make use of the Reporting Services for SQL Server 2000.
However, we don't have experience with VS and related product. Besides, we
find that the price is quite expensive.
Is it possible for us to use Visual Basic .NET as the Report Designer.

and because the client side printing capability was introduced with SP2 beta,

If I group on a field, will the report be sorted by that field as well?
I have a table whose parent is the report body. I'm grouping the
table on a string field that contains values like "SC2", "SC4", "SC5",

Can I run classic asp pages in the report manager?
I'm implementing a multi-value select report which works fine using a
standard html page. I want to serive my values from a database however
and am therefor using asp. The asp page will display in the report
manager but the code will not run.

Hi all,
New poster to the group. I scanned the group and googled this, but haven't
found a solution yet.
I am having problems setting up a multi-colum layout.

Is there a dropdown datawindow (DDDW) function in RS?
I mean can I use DDDW in a column(eg. department id) to retrieve code name

The connection to Sybase with OLEDB and ODBC have the same problem when the
query have parameter. The query below don´t execute:
