We know that RS will generate a fixed and limited set of PDF Properties to a
report rendered into PDF format. Can this set of properties be expanded
upon to include CUSTOM PROPERTIES?

thanks.

Hello Dennis,

Please refer to "PDF Device Information Settings" topic in BOL to see the
settings that is supported in built in PDF rendering extension.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/rsprog/htm/
rsp_prog_soapapi_dev_8bld.asp

You may want to custom your own rendering extenstion to support more custom
properties.

Peter,
Indeed BOL documents the PDF Device Information Settings as well as the
(limited) set of meta data properties which may be set. I need to provide
custom properties withing the PDF that something like the Index Server
IFilter can read. So presumably this would be a custom rendering extension.
How would one go about contrusting such an extension for PDF rendering.
Thanks.
