sql server reporting services:
We are currently evaluating RS as a reporting solution. I have explained
that the license for RS is part of our SQL Server license and that no
additional license is needed. However, management is concerned that once we
begin to deploy reports to the web, outside our firewall, that the licensing
for the product will change and we will incur additional cost. I would like
an "official" response from a MS representative as to whether or not this is

After reviewing the FAQ I find we need the "processor" license as opposed to
the "client" license to delploy to the extranet. One question remains. Will
the "standard" processor license be sufficient or do we need the "enterprise"
edition?
