Very definitely. For two reasons. 1. Everything needed to design reports
comes with RS. and 2. If you want to add code behind report or write your
own custom assembly then VB.Net allows you to do that. You can write code
behind without VB but I quite often have a test VB winapp that I test out
snippets of code before putting them in code behind reports. I very seldom
write any VB code for the reports but when I do it is handy to write and
test first in VB.
