I know this seems a little redundant, but while we are converting our mdb
databases to SQL Server databases, is it possible to use an mdb on the
server's harddrive as the datasource for reporting?

Thanks,

Ben,

Try creating an ODBC data source on your server that points to the MDB file.
Then in the report designer, reference this data source when creating your
report.

Jeff,
Thanks for the tip. I tried that and i get to the point where I set up
the data query for the report and Visual studio crashes everytime I chose a
table to add. I am currently trying to update the MDAC to 2.8sp1 (i had
2.7), and reinstalling the service pack 2 and hotpatch for reporting
services. I dont know if this will correct my problem. Any other
suggestions?

Ben
