sql server reporting services : SRS 2005 and SQL Server 2000

My company - and probably many others - are not likely to upgrade
most of our servers from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2005.

That said, will we be able to download and install SRS 2005 on top
of SQL Server 2000?

Depending on what you mean, yes... When I added SRS 2005 to my 2k IIS server
the 2k RS quit working.

However I was able to have SRS 2005 work using SQL 2k databases for the RS
databases...

How did you make it work?
Did you uninstall SRS 2000, then install SRS 2005
and then re-deploy the reports from VS .NET?
