sql server reporting services:
I moved a Reporting Services set up from one server to another. Now the only
security I can modify (new role assignments, etc.) is on the Reports home
page. I cannot modify security on any of the individual projects.

I compared the set up extensively to my development environment, but can't
find any differences.

Any thoughts?

Are your security permissions different on this other server? How are you
connected?

What type of credentials should I be checking for this issue? I would think
if I can add role assignments to the entire site, I would be able to add them
to individual projects.

I'm having the same problem, I can add a user or group to the site and
they can see all of my folders but If I remove them from the site
setting and add them to individual folders they don't see them.

Similar but I can only add to the site. I don't even have the option to add
to folders (no New Role Assigmnets button period).

It sounds like in your case it is set to inherit form the site, you
should be able to select at the top and get a message box asking you if
you want to break the inherited security.
