sql server reporting services:
Hello New to SQL Server and SQL Reporting Services need some help with the
install of reporting services want to know if it can be installed on a
different machine then the SQL Server as do not which to install IIS on the
database server.if this can be done is there any documation on it.

Yes this is supported. During setup you are prompted for the database
server name and this does not have to be local. You should know that this
does require a new license for this machine.

Does this mean that you need a SQL Server license for the machine - if the
SQL Server installation on the remote machine is a processor license, what
are the implications for licensing on the machine where Reporting services is
installed?
