Hos to pass a huge string parameter via url in RS2003?

sql server reporting services:

I'm using Visual Studio 2003 and RS2003.
A VB .Net applicaion concatenates several string values and passes the
resulting string to the report via url integration.

This parameter is likely to contain a long string and I'm concerned about
limitations of the url.

Do you know if there's a limitation in the length of the url and what is the
maximum string size that can be passed thru the url when using Reporting
Services 2003 with url integration?

It should not be more than 2048 characters which is the restriction of
Microsoft Internet Explorer.
