If you get access to their Reports website ie
http://theirsite/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx

you can simply Upload a File. Simply point to your .rdl file and
upload the report. You still have to have permission as a content
manager to do this and then point the report to the correct data
source, but it means you don't have to use the Visual Studio Deploy
method.

Hi,

We have some SQL reporting server reports created on my machine using SQL
Server 2000 and Visual Studio .Net 2003.

The reports are created on my local machine against a test database, I now
need to deploy the finished reports to a seperate reporting server at a
clients premises. I cannot access their server from my local machine so am
unable to deploy them from my machine using the path to their server in
Visual Studios deployment section.

Is there any way I can export the reports from my machine and import them on
their server through the reporting services interface and create a data
source with the same name as I'm using or do I need to find a way to connect
to their network and deploy the reports through visual studio for them to
work properly?

Thanks, Steve
