BusinessObjects Enterprise vs RS Enterprise

It seems that Crystal's offering of security through their symantic layer
largely outweighs the security offered by RS through the row level. Crystal
claims you can have one report that will work for many different datasources
and the datasource can be changed at runtime. RS has no similar
functionality, correct?

It sounds like it is much easier and efficeint to assign security on a
group/row level using crystal security vs RS to limit the data a user can
view.

Comments are very appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi

If I understand correctly, you want to use the same report against different
datasources and decide which datasource to use at run-time.

Does that mean that all your different datasources have identical schemas?
