Printing, User Permissions and RSClientPrint Class Azriphale

sql server reporting services:
I cannot believe that we are the people to come across this issue but
despite hours of searching I cannot find any clues.

We have a new SRS server installed on win2k3 server with SQL2000 and are now
at the point of unleashing a few users on it. The first thing they tried was
printing some of the reports we had created. Unfortunately this results in
an "error on page" symbol and no print dialog. Further investigation has
shown that the error only occurs for non administrator-level accounts if the
RSClientPrint Class has not been installed previously.

We have reproduced the error on a number of systems; XPsp2 and win2ksp4,
fully patched IE, various zone security setting (I got bored messing around,
so set everything to enabled and it still made no difference).

Given that we cannot log on to each machine individually to install the
object and giving out admin privileges is not an option, how can we install
the appropriate objects? Failing that is there anyway to install the ActiveX
Class outside of IE?

Many thanks,
Azi

Sorted, thanks to a bodge. This doesn't change the fact that it is flipping
stoopid way of printing. Can't someone come up with something more sensible?
After all, I though the point of web services was that they were free from
client installs.
