I want to run SQL 2000 reporting services with Visual Studio 2005, using the
SQL 2000 report designer (not the one included with visual studio 2005) I am
concerned that visual studio will only work with SQL 2005 (which we are not

Okay. I have a good one. Most all our users are in the Browsers group. The
Browsers group can manage their own subscriptions. However, everything I read
about this group says that users in the group cannot change who the report is

ReportManager and domain name change

Hi,
The fully qualified domain name of the reporting services server has changed
and that caused the Report Manager to stop working. I’m using SQL 2000
Reporting Services on Windows Server 2003 .

see the result is ok. But my report based on the same query shows first filed

Hi,
I have just created my first report using VS.NET 2005 and Reporting
Services. There is a small choice of controls to une on my reports.
The simplest control is Label, which I cannot find.
Please tell me how to place some text on a report.

When I export my report to EXCEL, CSV etc it opens up a new IE window and
leaves this behind after I've clicked open...anyone know how to close this IE
window or prevent it from opening in the first place? Ideally I want the user
to have a Open/Save dialog box pop up and nothing else.

Second access to a report doesn't generate a new report

We accessing Reports Services via the browser control on a form.
The user runs the report once. Goes back to the app and makes some changes
to the data.
The user runs the report a second time.
They get the old report...it doesn't get reun. It even has the original
date time stamp.
