Report Designer 2005 and 2003 side by side?
Posted by Howard Swope at 2/2/2006 4:59:09 PM
When I installed SQL Server 2005 on my machine, VisualStudio 2005 was also
installed. I now have both 2003 and 2005 running. However, reporting service
projects are no longer available in the VS 2003 environment. Is it possible
to use both side by side?
TIA

reports now and I'm wondering what to buy. They picked up Visual Studio Standard
Edition because on the MSDN site it says Standard does Reporting... more >>

Has anyone successfully configured Report Manager and Report Server (Virtual

If so, how? I have set all the settings I know of, but can't get it to go.
Thanks.

Subreport Page-Break Rendering
Posted by nash_music at 2/2/2006 12:13:27 PM
I'm having trouble rendering a subreport properly.
The parent report only takes about 10% of the first page. The subreport
returns too many rows (80 - 200) to fit on the first page with the parent
report, and is automatically being forced to a new page. This is leaving

folder. I see in the config that you can set it on the report services
virtual directory, but I want it on the reports as well. When I set it in
IIS, only some of the links use the https redirect, all the other links ... more >>
