sql server reporting services:

How come sometimes I can select/copy the data results returned from running a
query in the data tab and other times it will simply highlight the first cell
and I see a circle with a line thru it if I move off that cell? I need to be
able to save the result off as MRS pulls it so I can verify some things. Why

I suggest you verify outside of this environment (for instance with Query
Analyzer). I am not sure when the designer caches data but it does (look
where you design your reports and you will see files with a .data
extension).

Hi,
In the query designer you can select / copy if you disable the query
designer you can not copy. I think you might have noticed this as well.

no ... I didnt notice that, but now that you mention it ... this seems to
happen (that I cant copy) when I am using stored procedures and not straight
sql. Thanks.
