sql server reporting services:
The client active-x control is corrupted. To Fix this
IE -> Tools -> InternetOption -> Settings -> View Objects -> Remove RS
Client Print object. Now click the icon from the report . The Active-x
control will be downloaded to install again freshly to get working.

I tried printing a Reporting Services report from the report viewer tool in
my application. I click the printer icon at the top of report viewer, see
the Print dialog box with my default printer selected, and click print.
Nothing happens.

I tried printing a Reporting Services report from a Internet Explorer on
both the client and the server. In both cases, I got a pop-up dialog
stating: "Unable to load client print control."

Can anyone point me toward the correct configuration setting to check? Since
both the client and server print from Wordpad just fine, my guess is that
this is a configuration issue.

Thanks,
Randy

I got the same problem in the beginning. Afterward, I got "An error
occurred trying to get the current window".

However, I can't fix it by this method. Do you have any idea? Thanks!

Many thanks...

I performed the procedure below, which placed me in the "downloaded program
files" directory. Rather than delete, I first tried right-clicking each
object in this directory, and selecting "Update" from the pop-up menu. I now
find that my printing from report services works great.

Thanks again. This was definitely not obvious.

Randy
