Hi Wei Lu,
The sample dataset has values like these:
colA colB colC
-----------------------------------------
0.6 1.00 x3
0.75 1.15 x4
0.8 1.10 x1
0.82 1.08 x5
0.9 1.2 x2
I am using colA as X-axis and ColB as Y-axis and colC as category. I need to
set 0.5 as min and 2 as max in both X and Y axes. Also they should cross each
other at 1. But always if we give a fractional value like 0.5 above, for min,
it automatically takes the next lowest whole number(in this case 0) as min
value (If we see the report in the report manager or preview mode. It is good
only in layout mode.). Is there any remedy to this?
Also when they cross at 1, I want the axis line(horizantal for x and
vertical for Y) also to move up. But what happens is only the x and y axis
labels move up. This makes the chart lot more confusing. Is there any
solution to this?
Note: I always check the option "Numeric/time scale value" for X-axis in
properties window.
Thanks

Hi ringt,
Thanks for the update.
I tried on my side. If I use 0.5 as min and 2.0 as max, it works fine.
As for the cross issue, I think using the Major tick mark and Minor tick
mark will help you to make the chart more decent.
Hope this information will be helpful!
Sincerely,
