sql server reporting services:
I'm trying to install sql server reporting services for sql server 2000 on
my Win2003 server. In the system prerequisite check, I get the warning 'IIS
is either not installed or not configured for a server component
installation.' Well, IIS is installed (I can get my default page from
http://localhost). Any idea why I get this warning?

Has ASP.NET been installed on it? It sounds like a server component is
missing that RS needs.

For future reference, the solution was to uninstall IIS, reinstall it, and
re-associate aspnet (aspnet_regiis -i). It's not as painful as it sounds.
