Yes. No problem. VS 2003 (which hosts the Report Designer) and VS 2005 have
no problem side by side. Also, you do not need to purchase VS 2005 since RS
2005 comes with a version of VS. If you have VS 2005 it will integrate with
it. Unless you are writing custom assemblies and activities like that then
you do not need to purchase VS 2005.

Thanks, I was able to install 2003 to connect to SSAS 2000.

I had a problem connecting to my AS but I finally resolved that issue.

I am trying to build a report now. Is the query the same as tsql in
selecting information from the cube?

Unfortunately, we are not ready for deploy the product in 2005 yet.
Currently, the release is using 2000. Do you know of any resources that will
provide some tips or instructions in using SQL Server reporting services with
OLAP?

I build a sample report against the cube just to see what happens. I got
information from the cube but I'm not sure how to design the reports to
illustrate the same information that I get in the cube browser.

No. Cubes are their own thing and have their own syntax. I believe RS 2005
provides more help in this area but I am not sure.
