Not creating report when no data is present Steve

sql server reporting services: I have a subscription that is set up to run each night. The report creates a
list of updated information during the day. If there is no updated
information during the day I still get the report header but the report is
blank. I would like to not create any report (or at least have it not email
the report) when there is no data returned from the query. Is that possible?

If you're using Enterprise edition, you can use data driven subscription and
write the query so no recipients are defined when changes are not present.
I don't know of any way to force a subscription to NOT publish if there are
no data rows.

Tim,
Thanks for the info. That is what I did but I was hoping that there might
be a parameter that I could set to not write the report when the query
returned no rows. Thanks...
