Hi Gary,

Thank you for your posting!

From your description, my understanding of this issue is: You wan to snake
the column in a table on a report. If i misunderstood your concern, please
feel free to point it out.

Unfortunately, you can not snake a column in table.

You can use a Multi-column Reports, but to view multi-column reports you
must use one the these renderers: Print Preview, PDF, or TIFF.
Preview, HTML, and Excel do not support multi-column rendering.

Wei,
I messed with that URL but never got to a page.

I know I could create a multicolumn report which can snake as a subreport
but subreports don't appear to be reliable because often you just get an
error "can't print subreport" and sometimes it works. (we render in PDF).
The WROX book I have says to avoid them.

Hi Gary,

Thank you for the update.

I think this issue is related with the Subreport.

1. Does this issue appear on all the export format or only on the PDF
format?

2. Does the subreport render successfully in the report server itself?

Please let me know the result so that I can provide further assistance.

Sincerely,
