getting Error: Subreport could not be shown in report viewer

sql server reporting services: Hi All,

I am getting this error - "Error: Subreport could not be shown" only in
the report viewer. Strangely, the first row in the parent report has
the subreport shown correctly and all the subsequent rows have this
error message.

The report runs fine when I use the preview in Business Intelligence
studio where I develop the report.

The log file has this error logged in it:

An error has occurred during report processing --->
System.ArgumentException: Item has already been added. Key in
dictionary: '84' key being added: '84'

Please help me solve this problem! It is taking all my time.....

Thanks in advance
Bharath

Hi Ben,

i was talking about the report server. yes, the sub report is deployed
in the same folder as the parent report. strangely, only the first row
in the parent report has the sub report displayed. the subsequent rows
have got the error message.

Thanks
Bharath

if you are talking about the report server, then make sure the subreport was
deployed into the same folder your main report was. If not, it will give an
error in the box where your subreport is supposed to be.

Sorry to be a "me, too"-er, but yeah, me, too.

Main and Sub reports in the same folder, passing parameters correctly.
Getting the sub-report in the first record, but it errors out on all
subsequent passes. Also getting the "Item has already been added" message in
the logs.

Any ideas? I'm checking the Service Pack level with our Administrator group;
not sure where to go after that.

Mark.
