Lines in text column run together
Posted by Jeff at 8/25/2006 4:40:01 PM
Hi,
I'm using SQL RS 2000. My report has a text column that contains line
breaks. When printing this column in on a report, all of the lines run
together.
I've tried using a grid and list view and neither work.
Any ideas? Is there a function I should be using?
Thanks.

Posted by Pete Zerger at 8/25/2006 4:18:46 PM
I have a SQL 2005 Reporting Server, and notice the only report delivery option
I see is 'export to a file share'. How to I enable the email option? Did
I perhaps miss something during installation?

Keeping newlines when displaying a text or ntext column in a textb

I have a report that displays some details of a Claim that users have
entered. The data they enter contains newline characters. However, when I
bind this to a textbox in reporting services and display it all of the
newline characters are lost, and the text appears as one garbled lump, e.g.

I am creating a report where I need to create a border around a series
of cells. It looks great when viewing it in Report Manager; however
(there is always a however) when I print the report some borders are
thin and of a lighter weight than they should be.
My cells have a 0 padding, so I thou... more >>

I've only been using SSRS for a short period, but I've already found myself
on the verge of throwing my computer out of the office window (would be less
spectacular than it sounds - the window's are toughened glass and invariably
shut).
My beef is with the way that the parameter list is de... more >>
