sql server reporting services: Hi,
I'm trying to use the report builder for the first time.
Is there a way to create an Oracle datasource in a report model project
?

Thanks,
Panna

Hi Panna,

AFAIK, Oracle is not supported currently, although it may be supported in a
future.
You can try linking the Oracle server to SQL Server using the Linked Servers
option in SQL Server. However, I've not tried this and I'm not sure if it
will work, actually. I'm not sure all the T-SQL syntax generated by the
Semantic Engine is available for linked servers.

HTH, however.

you could created linked views in SQL Server and then use a tool like Access
Data Projects.
