sql server reporting services : Letter/A4 Page Setup in ReportViewer Control

After a Report is rendered in a Winform with Report Viewer Control, when the
users click the "Page Setup" button in the Control's toolstrip, what appears
is "Paper Size: Letter."

I tried to configure A4 the following ways, but couldn't achieve it to work
for any printer driver
- setting the driver's default page size to A4 in Printing Preferences for
each printer via Control Panel/Printers and Faxes (this works for some
printers for others NOT)
- setting the report's language property (in the RDL) to German (or another
not US country with standard inch measurements)
- take care that in the RDL the measurements are all in mm/cm not inches
- setting Location in Regional and Language Options(Control Panel) to
Germany or change Measurement System in Standards and Formats to metric

Hello Henry,

Have you tried to modify the report page size to A4 which is 21cm * 29.7 cm?

The Page Setup is related with the report page size.

Please try to modify this.

NOTE: If the issue is urgent to your business, it is recommended that you
contact Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) via telephone so that a
dedicated Support Professional can help you resolve your issue in a more
efficient manner. Please be advised that contacting phone support will be a
charged call.

To obtain the phone numbers for a specific technology request please take a
look at the web site listed below.

most efficient resolution. The offering is not appropriate for situations

Yes it's always set 297mm to 210 mm (=landscape)

After receiving your suggestion, I had another look at the test-client-PC
and the problem went away!?
The only thing I can imagine is, that the change to "metric" in measurement
in Regional Options and a reboot caused this to happen.

Thank you Wei Lu,

Yours, Henry
