Repeating Group headers on reports with subreports

sql server reporting services:

I have a report that contains a table. The group header in the table is set
to repeat on a new page. However, as soon as I place a subreport in the table
of the main report and that subreport causes a page break...the group header
on the top-level report doesn't repeat. Is there a workaround for this
shortcoming?
