sql server reporting services : VS2005 import existing 2003 folders and reports into new VS2005 report server project

Hi, I have a bunch of VS2003 rdl files which exist in named folders
and I want to import all these files and their associated folders into
a new VS2005 report server project.

So, I tried just copying the base "reports" folder into the same
folder where the new VS2005 reports solution is located and then
clicking on the "view all files" button hoping I could just add them
into the solution. No luck, I am certain that the reports are in the
correct place..

So, how can I do a bulk import of 2003 rdl files and their associated
parent folders into a new VS2005 report server solution????

Thanks
Markus

Hi Enrique, thanks for your help.

I have all the new database/ reporting server etc working fine.

AllI want to do is be able top import all my existing 2003 RDL files
into a new VS2005 development project so I can edit them in Report
Designer.

Thanks for any insight
:)

Copy over all the project to a new directory. Open up VS 2005 (or BI) and
open an existing project and open the new one you just copied. It will
prompt you if you want to convert the project (I think, it's been awhile).
At this point the project might be RS 2005 but the individual reports are
still 2000. Open up each report in the designer, allow it to convert, then
save and deploy. Although RS 2005 can run 2000 reports I had weird little
problems until I converted all the reports to RS 2005 format.
