These can be ignored. These extensions were written to get their
localization information from a different mechanism.

The following error message appears in Report Manager when using Excel or PDF
extensions for scheduled reports besides the error message indicated in the
RS logs. How do I resolve this message?

Failure sending mail: The message could not be sent to the SMTP server. The
transport error code was 0x80040217. The server response was not available

You should make sure that the email delivery extensions settings are
correct. Look in the RSReportServer.config file. There are several
settings for the email extension. Most importantly make sure the smtpserver
is set correctly. Ensure you are using the correct port (25 is the default
port). You may need to talk to the administrator of your SMTP server to
ensure everything is setup correctly.

Hi!. i faced the same problem posted by you and I was able to find a solution also.

When I got the error log message below after configuring reporting server E mail settings

WARN: The extension Report Server Email does not have a LocalizedNameAttribute.
WARN: The extension Report Server FileShare does not have a LocalizedNameAttribute.

I reconfigured the "Windows Service Identity" of the report server with Windows account. If you already configured it for Windows service account please recheck the validation of the login password. If you have selected "Built in Account" option please create a windows account or use existing windows account in your server. If there are any more issues please let me know.

The path for the report server configuration manager is follows.
Start - All Programs - Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - Configuration tools - Reporting Services Configuration
