dotnet compact framework : Sys req for any given .net ppc app?

I need to determine the minimum specs that any given ppc device needs to run
my app. I'll admit, the most difficult part of getting into this cf .net
programming has been figuring out the devices, what OS version they need to
be running, and what version of the netcf. In fact, I still am feeling
clueless after months of developing this stuff. My app runs great - but
dang, I still don't know what to tell my users to buy so that they know it
will run on their device.

I've been testing on my dell axim - but they want intermec, symbol and other
industrial devices.

Can someone point me to somewhere that first, tells me what minimum OS level
is needed to run a vb.net cf app (just seems silly that I should have to ask
this).

As far as hardware requirements, I am assuming that memory and processor
speed is then the only difference outside the OS??

Why am I feeling so confused about all this. I'm still forgetting how to
check what OS version my own device has, and what version of the .net cf is
running in it.

Can someone help shed some light on this for me? A site to review,
something?

Thanks!

Joe

TheCF runtimes are supported on the following:

Any device running CE 4.1, 4.2 or 5.0 or any Pocket PC (2000, 2002 or 2003).

You have to determine what CF runtime version you are building your app with
so only you can specify the version.
