When you created the project in VS2005 was it a .NETCF v1.0 or v2.0 project?
Which versions of the runtimes appear as installed on your device (see
Remove Programs list)?

Hello,

I'm trying to (re)build my netcf application using VS.net 2005
After copying the files to the device, the following error occurs

TypeLoadException
Could not load type
System.Windows.Forms.Form
from assembly System.Windows.Forms, version=1.0.5000.0,
culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=....

I've tested in on serveral devices, they all have the same problem

If I build the same app using VS.Net 2003 and put in on the same
system, every things works fine.

Who can explain this ?

The project is a NetCF 1.0 project (i guess)

-> I've selected a PocketPC 2003 device as target
-> If I check the directories of the system.dll it uses
- C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio
8\SmartDevices\SDK\CompactFramework\v1.0\WindowsCE\System.dll
- RunTime version : v1.1.4322
- Version : 1.0.5000.0

The "Remove Programs" only shows "Microsoft .Net Compact Framework"
But I'm sure it the NetCF 1.0 runtime
