It should be included somewhere in the VS2005 installation directory or
you can download it from Microsoft -
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=0C1B0A88-59E2-4EBA-A70E-4CD851C5FCC4&displaylang=en .. If you don't know version of the CF on your device, you can try to
launch \Windows\cgacutil.exe executable which will display your CF
version.

Hi
I am an experienced developer new to windowsmobile 5.0. Previously I
worked with PPC2003, wince4.2, I was able to deploy to device new/old with
PPC2003/wince 4.2.
I recently bought a new I-mate windowsmobile 5.0 mobile and when I try
to deploy the application from VS2005/ install it by coping to device, I get
the following error.
Unable to start program
'%CSIDL_PROGRAM_FILES%\DeviceApplication1\DeviceApplication1.exe'.
Unable to load the CLR. The target device does not have a compatible
version of the CLR installed for the application you are attempting to
debug. Verify that your device supports the appropriate CLR version and has
that CLR installed. Some devices do not support automatic CLR upgrade.
