Hello,

i've some trouble deploying my application with:
VS 2005 prof.
Active Sync 4.1
Windows Mobile 5.0 SDK
Dell Axim X51v

Eyertime i deploy or debug my application it takes over ONE minute to
deploy/debug my application to my Dell and over SIX minuten to
deploy/debug my appication in the Windows Mobile 5.0 VGA Emulator...
(My application is about 200 k.. and some References...)

Why?

Is this normal?

It has been normal for me. I don't know about 1 minute, but it's like
watching the proverbial paint dry. VS2005 is simply slowwwwww. The emulators
are "naturally" slowwwww too. But I'm running a box with 1.6 g P4 500 meg
RAM, so I'll speculate the issue is hardware (altho the same slowness is
apparent on my 3.4g laptop). I've read that VS2005 just needs more
resources. And when you consider that the emulator is the equivalent of an
OS on top of an OS ....

One thing you can do is to make sure it doesn't have to reinstall/copy all
of the objects on the PPC on every debug/deploy.
