Help required for Symbol 9090-S Bar Code Reader

dotnet compact framework: I've developed an application for Symbol Bar code reader that runs Windows CE, whole the application is fine but i'm unable to use its Scanning feature.

via vb code i'm enabling true its barcode property like

Barcode1.EnableScanner = True

and i'm not getting any error also, but it does not activate its scanner.
I've checked a sample application that s shipped with this device and installed over it, scanning is working fine by it.

NEED URGENT HELP DEARS....

It is better to contact with Symbol. With the previous version of SMDK
there was no problem with barcode reading, though with SMDK 1.05.05,
