dotnet academic: How to hash DataSet than write XML to file?

Did you mean write it to a binary file instead of an XML File?

If so, look at the
System.Runtime.Serialization.Formatters.Binary.BinaryFormatter class.

You can use it to serialize or deserialize a dataset in a binary format.
