Same results.
If I try to create a new Web Application, the default location and name is:
http://localhost/quickstart/WebApplication1
If I use
http://127.0.0.1, or my PC's IP address, I get the same error
message.
I have installed Visual Studio 2005 Beta and taken it off, Visual Studio
2003 Academic and taken it on and now Visual Studio 2003 60 day trial.
I have installed and uninstalled all sorts of versions of .NET Framework.
I have installed MSDE using
Setup.exe /qb+ INSTANCENAME=NetSDK DISABLENETWORKPROTOCOLS=1 SAPWD=xxxxxxx
based on something I read.
To tell the truth - I am completely lost here - the documentation completely
baffles me. I followed all the steps each version of VS required.
Can anyone please help me figure out what to install in what order, so that
I can try creating Web Applications?
