Installation Problems... Nags

dotnet academic: Hey Guys -- First of all... Thanks up front.

So here's the deal.

I'm trying to install Visual Studio.NET '03.

The installation goes fine until I get to:
\MICROSOFT VISUAL STUDIO.NET
2003\CompactFrameworkSDK\ConnectionManager\Bin\DriverInstall\

and the file is Setup.ini

I've tried a few different times now -- and it keeps hanging at that spot.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Oh -- and here's what I've tried...

Running XP Pro
Installing on Admin Account
Have been restarting the computer in a Selective Startup Mode.
Before starting each install -- I've cleared out the Temp folder that the
installation files are copied too.

Visual studio writes an error log file when it cannot complete the
installation task. Have a look at that file for the specific error. You may
also want to look at your application logs to see if there are any
permissions exceptions.

I am having the exact same problem. I also have Windows XP Pro
with SP2 and have tried turning off Norton AntiVirus/Firewall, MS
AntiSpyware, and have tried the selective startup.

The install hangs at this same spot every time.
