How to edit labels in legend in a graph using CR -- dotnet academic

I wanted to edit the legend text and i found that solution :
-------------------------------------------
[quoted text, click to view]
the text and choose 'Edit Axis Label'
--------------------------------------------
but this solution is temporary bcoz it works with report preview screen
but at run time there is no change in the legend text how to make it
permanent.
