dotnet academic : broken wireless internet connection

Please help anybody!
I have laptop wich was connected to the internet via wireless router "
NETGEAR".
Since I took my laptop to the different town, my wireless connection is
broken. The icon on the taskbar menu shows that it is connected to the router
, but it does not display any webpages. I did connected my laptop to the
internet via wireless router in the other town and it worked, but when I

Have you tried dropping the existing connection, scanning for available
servers, then reconnecting?
